Trying to capture a certain restlessness and impatience on the recent canvases - the difficulty I have focusing, the fact I can't sit still, the heaping pile of laundry I refuse to fold. I noticed Damien Hirst will post close-ups of mediocre paintings and his audience will go bananas. Someone told me to think less and do more. I really like that, but I'm still trying to figure out exactly what's going through my head when I make something like this.
