Artist Marcia Clay lives and works in North Beath, California.

A long–time resident of North Beach, Marcia Clay has captured impressions of its haunts and inhabitants for over twenty five years. The works featured on this website are etchings, watercolors, oil-on canvas paintings, images of the Chinese American community, and the artist herself passing through. “I paint and draw from memory-not exactly memory but a synthesis of what I’ve encountered and chosen to celebrate-as a still, lasting remnant of lived moments, internal life transferred to images”
